Aurora is ultimately a sympathetic character since she finds herself in an unwelcome situation because of Jim’s actions, and Lawrence captures both her intelligence and despair.

In this movie, she took on a demanding role that not every actress would be able to pull off, and the gamble paid out well, resulting in one of Lawrence’s best-rated movies.
