ADiablo 4player has recently recreated the mythical Krampus as their main character in the game. Blizzard’s latest title offers gamers a comprehensive character creation system with five classes, and many people are alreadyusingDiablo 4to recreate famous figuresusing it.
Diablo 4is a huge hitand, according to Blizzard’s official estimates, it’s also the company’s fastest-selling title so far. Most of this success is due to an aggressive marketing campaign, being part of a franchise that has had avid fans since the 90s, and a sprawling open world. Another feature that has been delighting players is how customizable their characters are. The game comes with several opportunities for customization and five classes: Sorcerer, Barbarian, Rogue, Necromancer, and Druid, each one with its distinct gameplay and quite a few options for appearance, even if the gamer does not buy any cosmetics using real money.

Recently, oneDiablo 4player called Phantagor decided to share their latest creation: the mythical Krampus as a Druid character in the game. Krampus is a legendary figure from European folklore, a horned monster who lives in the Alps. In modern times, he’s often portrayed as Santa Claus’ arch-nemesis, as the original Krampus was said to scare children who misbehaved, while Saint Nicholas (AKA Santa Claus) gave them rewards for being good kids. Phantagor’s creation follows this spirit, as the character really looks like an evil Santa with horns who’s ready to punish naughty children.
Phantagor also commented on how hard it was to devise this version of Krampus. According to them, it’s very difficult to customize a Druid and not look ridiculous. Most of the time, they said, they felt as if he looked like a clown or an animal companion inWorld of Warcraft. So, it took them a long time to really make areally cool-lookingDiablo 4character.
Players who like to create new characters are in luck, though, as it seems thatDiablo 4will require new characters every season. According to recent comments made by Blizzard’s Rod Fergusson, gamers who want to participate in the seasonal content of the game will need to create new seasonal characters. While this may sound like good news for people who love playing with the character creator, it may be a bummer for gamers who were able to hit max level after a lot of effort and may not want to start from scratch.
Diablo 4is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
