PC Gamer found a tribute to Cayde-6 that will moveDestiny 2fans. The death of the owner of Ace of Spades took place during theevents of theDestiny 2: Forsakenexpansionand the scene is remembered by players as one of the most impactful moments inDestinyhistory. Players who visit the Tower before leaving for Neomuna will notice different decorations at the site. Near Zavala is a Monument to Fellowship and with it, a memorial to Cayde-6. The Exo voiced by Nathan Fillon is one of the most beloved characters in theDestinyfranchise for many reasons, most notably his dialogue and infectious good humor.
The Cayde-6 memorial consists of a bust and a plaque showing his signature weapon. As the player approaches it is possible to hear a selection of messages from the other characters. One of the most striking lines is spoken by Crow: “Wish I could have met him… Some of the stories that I’ve heard.” Crow was resurrected as a Guardian, but in his previous life, he was Uldren Sov, the man who killed Cayde-6. Four years after Cayde-6 passed away,Destiny 2 fulfilled the community’s requestto make a memorial for the man who had no time to explain what he had no time to understand.
TheDestiny 2: Lightfallrelease was heavily promoted by Bungie and surrounded by much player anticipation, which was reflected by anew Steam record forDestiny 2.
