Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine suit forDeadpool 3has finally been revealed, and it is everything fans have been waiting for.
Jackman has played one of Marvel’s most popular mutants since the firstX-Menin 2000, long beforeDeadpool. Since then, he has played the character in nine films. Although some of his films have received negative reactions from fans and critics, such asX-Men Origins: Wolverine, fans loved Jackman’s portrayal. Jackman never got to wear a comic-accurate yellow suit in his movies, even though it was teased inThe Wolverinein 2013. It was rumored that the character will finally wear acomic-accurate Wolverine suit inDeadpool 3.

Ryan Reynolds, who plays the Merc with a Mouth in theDeadpooltrilogy and the Merc without a Mouth inX-Men Origins, posted a picture of him and Jackman wearing their superhero suits to his Instagram account. There were recently leaked on-set photos ofReynolds' new Deadpool suitfor the film. However, fans were disappointed that Jackman was not seen in those photos. Reynolds has answered by giving fans a good look at both actors in their comic-accurate suits.
The suit looks like it came straight out of anAstonishing X-Mencomic and looks fantastic. The picture does not include Wolverine’s iconic mask, although his hair is seemingly pointy, like in the comics. It is not confirmed if Jackman will wear a mask at some point in the film or if this will be the character’s look throughout the movie.
Mask or not, fans are so excited to see Wolverine in the yellow and blue suit from the comics. It has also been confirmed that this version of Wolverine is from a point inthe timeline beforeLoganand will not diminish the send-off the character received in that film. It is still unclear where this version of Wolverine is from, as being set beforeLoganis a lot of time to go off of.
Deadpool 3reportedly deals with the multiverseand may involve the TVA seen in the Disney PlusLokiseries. The film is also rumored to feature several characters from the Fox franchises, such as Ben Affleck’s Daredevil and Halle Berry as Storm. Jennifer Garner was recently confirmed to reprise herDaredevilrole as Elektra. Kevin Feige has said the film will still be R-rated like the previous twoDeadpool movies.
Deadpool 3is currently expected to release on June 10, 2025.
