Earning money inDead Island 2is a great start to getting involved with the mechanics of the game. There may be some situations where the player will need finances to buy materials to craft weapons or to get healing items. Thebest way to get money inDead Island 2begins with the many weapons that can be sold.
8Nightstick
As a blunt melee weapon inDead Island 2, the Nightstick is an uncommon weapon that can be found in a few locations, but most commonly within the security booths at Halperin Hotel. It’s a quick striking weapon. Players will probably be able to bust some kneecaps with the Nightstick, but they have to ask if it’s worth it or the money inthe horrors of Hell-A.
Exploring the Halperin Hotel, players can collect a few Nightsticks to sell at a later time to Vendors and Traders. It’s a good weapon, and the fact that it’s a green ‘uncommon’ rarity within the Halperin Hotel, it’ll be worth more than a grey ‘common’ weapon.

7Claws
If players have a craving to feel like Wolverine inDead Island 2, then the claws are the perfect weapon for them. These dual-wielding claws arelike Fury Mode. Players can stab and scratch at zombies thanks to their spiked brass knuckles design. This hand-to-hand weapon is quick striking, somewhat hard to find, and a good sell inDead Island 2.
Players will want to think if they want to keep the Claws or sell them, as it’s hard to get rid of a fun weapon, but when they find another pair, it should be a certainty that a Trader or a Vendor is going to receive these bloody Claws in exchange for cash.

6Baseball Bat
The Baseball Bat blunt weapon inDead Island 2is rather common and can be found throughout the game. Whether it’s left in a garage, on the side of the road, or in someone’s room from a long-since abandoned house. The Baseball Bat is a decent weapon that players can use to crack skulls and take names.

The amount of Baseball Bats players will find, it’s probably best that players keep a few in their inventory until they find a trader or a vendor to sell them in bulk. Although it may not be the priciest weapon one can sell, it’s common enough to net a profit.
5Pipe Wrench
The one-handed blunt melee weapon of the Pipe Wrench can be found in a few locations. Most commonly, hanging on walls in garages and bathrooms. However, players won’t be using the Pipe Wrench to fix toilets and begin a plumbing business in the zombie apocalypse. They’ll be using it to smash skulls and bonesjust like the first game.
The Pipe Wrench is another weapon inDead Island 2that players should collect. Whether it’s to repair their already in-use Pipe Wrench or to get a quick bout of cash on their adventures. Selling the Pipe Wrench may not net a huge profit, but it’s a start to something better.

4Pistol
Firearms are rarer than other weapons inDead Island 2. With their great range, and the fact that players can shoot a zombie in the head rather than risk getting bitten when swinging a blunt weapon, means that firearms like Pistols are useful for dealing damage, staying safe, and showing off to other players, especially with somesneaky duplication glitches.
The Pistol is the most basic firearm inDead Island 2. Whether it’s compared to Revolvers or Rifles, the Pistol is the easiest to find, which means it would not be a total loss if players were to sell it for that extra cash. Selling the pistol may be rewarding, as players won’t have to worry about running out of ammo, especially when they don’t have a gun to use said ammo on in the first place.

3Machete
One of the best and sharpest weapons inDead Island 2is the Machete, a weapon with great range and damage potential. The Machete may be a good weapon, and a beautifully sharp one to take off limbs and cut up guts, but players need to ask themselves if it’s worth the damage or worth the money for selling it.

There’s a large market out there for Machetes, thanks to the fact that they’re a useful weapon. It also makes sense that they would be a good sale, considering Machetes aren’t exactly common in Los Angeles, although those that have them must be feeling pretty smug in this zombie apocalypse.
2Knife
Knives are a useful weapon for the fact that they are sharp rather than blunt. The damage output is low, but the stamina requirements are even lower. Knives may not be thebest weapon inDead Island 2, but they certainly have their uses, even with such a low range and durability.
The commonly found Knives inDead Island 2should be sold due to the little space they take in the inventory. Vendors may want these knives for themselves, and the amount players find, it’s annoying they can’t just make a suit of armor made of knives, as they will certainly have enough.

1Katana
Is there anything more delicate and beautiful in the art of zombie killing than a Katana? The answer is no. The damage for Katanas is extremely high, and the stamina requirements are rather low. Katanas are great inDead Island 2, for their fast swinging and limb-ripping potential. It’s a worthy weapon, especially at themax level inDead Island 2, but even worthier to sell.
Players may be able to find Katanas as Quest rewards, zombie loots or chest finds. They may not be the most common weapon, but with such an abundance of firearms, blunt weapons, and sharp weapons, selling a Katana won’t ruin the game, especially when players could get some fat stacks of cash for it.

Dead Island 2is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
