Coral Islandis all about saving the island from oil barons that want to further pollute the island after a tragic oil spill. to fix the environment and make the island and its waters safe for both humans and the merefolk that live below the ocean, players will need to work together with the local goddess to save the waters from further damage. The beginning of this game-long quest chain is called the Mythical Dream Quest. It begins with theCoral Islandplayer having a mysterious dream and then meeting some of the non-human denizens of this sacred island.

Triggering the Mythical Dream Quest
to get the quest going in thelife simulation gamecalledCoral Island, players will need to complete a couple of main quests. Players should complete the quest that requires them to grow a crop at their new farm, the quest to fix up their home, and the quest to talk to Sam at his store in town. After that, players will just need to sleep in order to trigger the dream that gets this quest going.
In order to sleep, just head past the player’s farm with all theirCoral Islandcropsand go inside the player’s home and click on the bed. Select “Go to Bed.” This can be done no matter what time of day it is in order to pass time or to refill stamina and life. Once players have filled all the prerequisites for this quest to begin, they will get a dream featuring a glowing ball of lights and cherry blossom petals.
Mythical Dream Quest Part 1: How to Find a Tree Tablet on Coral Island
In the dream, the glowing ball of light will ask the player to find one of the tree shrines located on the island of thisfarm sim game. There are quite a few of these trees, and it doesn’t matter which one the player visits. The closest one to the player’s home is on the path to the Caverns, to the north and a little west.
Interact with the glowing rock in front of the tree, and a cutscene will play.
This scene will feature a strange tree-like critter, and it will be almost as scared of the player as they are of it.
Next, head home and go to bed to start the next part of the quest.
Mythical Dream Quest Part 2: Finding the Tree Spirit Again on Coral Island
After falling asleep, another cutscene will play. This one will feature a broken log surrounded by colored lights.

When the player wakes, there will be a mysterious letter in their mailbox. Don’t forget this step, as the next steps won’t trigger until the letter is read.
Head to the location of the broken tree bridge, and players will find it is now fixed.
After walking over the fallen tree, another cutscene will play featuring the tree spirit. It will ask the player for help.
This will unlock the Third Eye, which lets players read the ancient secret script on all the island’s mysterious stones. For the next part of the quest, players will want to bring along any crops they have lying around in theirCoral Islandinventoryfor tithes.
Mythical Dream Quest Part 3: Visit the Lake Shrine
The next step in the quest chain in thisrelaxing sim gameis to follow the spirit’s direction. The tree spirit will ask that players meet the goddess of the island at the Lake Shrine. This is quite a hike from the player’s current location; it’s all the way across the map to the northeast. The lake shrine looks like this:
Once there, a cutscene will play, and it will unlock the ability to make offerings to the goddess at her Lake Shrine. Completing these tasks will unlock special seeds, items, and fast travel across the island in theKickstarter success calledCoral Island.
