The Legend of Zeldais one of the most well-known video game franchises of all time (and ranks up there with theMariogames as the best from Nintendo). With such a beloved franchise, players have been following the series since its first release in 1986.
Over the decades, the game franchise has had classic items that have appeared in the games time and time again. Unfortunately, some of those items were missing inTears of the Kingdom.Here’s a list of some of the best classic items that should’ve been available in the game via the fusion feature.
Diamond & Lynel Horn

The Power Bracelet has been in seven main games in the franchise, making it one that a lot of players have experienced at one point or another. This item is made to help Link lift and move around extremely heavy items. Whilethe Fusion Abilitylets Link move things around, the Power Bracelet could’ve given him more flexibility. Imagine traveling around Hyrule, moving some of the larger rocks and things that Fusion just doesn’t pick up.
For how to create the Power Bracelet in the game, Link could’ve had a few different options. For example, using one of the many gemstones around the game (this goes with the diamond just because it is the hardest one to find) would give players the bracelet aspect of it. Then, using something like the Lynel’s Horn (since it is one of the strongest enemies in the game), the Power Bracelet could’ve been made.
Keese Wing & Any Pair Of Boots
The Pegasus Boots is an item that younger fans of the series may recognize, as well as those who played the game during its classic era. These boots are given to Link in various games so that he can dash around the game. This allows him to run up slippery surfaces, dashing into objects, and running much faster than he normally would. Imagine using these instead of needingthe Sticky Elixiror Frog Suit to climb up slippery surfaces. Additionally, running faster would’ve been great, especially since players sometimes didn’t have the means to make Zonai Vehicles.
When looking at how to create these boots, there are a few options. For example, the wings of different monsters can be used for various things to fly longer, so using Keese Wings could help Link run much faster than he originally would. Then, Fusing those with one of the many boots that Link can find around the game world would allow him to create these boots to use. Since some items will show back up in shops after purchasing them, using those boots wouldn’t let Link miss out on anything.
Wood & A Cricket
When someone mentions an ocarina, most people who know the game series think ofOcarina of Time.However, ocarinas have actually been in the game series for longer than that. Originally, the instrument appeared inA Link to the Past.Similarly to the well-known Ocarina of Time, these ocarinas would allow Link to play them for special occasions, such as getting help or teleporting. With the later games, the player actually got to play the ocarina and play different songs that have since become classics. While the Purah Pad is cool, using an ocarina to travel would’ve been pretty cool too.
When looking at how to Fuse this item, it was a little difficult. Usually, they are made from types of ceramics. However, they can also be created out of wood. So, wood would be a great item to use to create an ocarina. Then, using something such as a cricket could help with making noise with the instrument. Overall, this could be an interesting Fusion that would not only help Link in a myriad of ways but it could also allow players who never got to use an ocarina to see how amazing they were back in the day.
Flint & Any Pair Of Boots
The Iron Boots were an interesting concept throughout the games they were found in. They could be used to weigh down switches, walk underwater, keep Link’s footing in strong winds, and even stick to magnetic surfaces. While theZora Armorhelps Link in the water, imagine being able to put these boots on and explore Hyrule below the waves. That could’ve been so much fun, seeing the game from a different angle. They could’ve also been super helpful in some of the Zonai Shrines that litter the world.
The Fusion recipe for these could have been such a simple one, too. Since the game has some pretty hard materials (such as the Flint, Luminous Stone, etc.), using one of those would give the boots iron-like abilities (since iron isn’t really in the game). Then, using any boot would allow Link to make these amazing boots. As mentioned with the Pegasus Boots, there are some boots that will replenish in shops, ensuring that Link wouldn’t miss out on any if he Fused them.
Lynel Mace Horn & Cane Sugar
The Hookshot is such an amazing classic item that a ton of players enjoyed using. No matter what game players are playing, the Hookshot was used to help Link reach faraway places with ease. Imagine going around Hyrule and being able to reach higher areas just by pulling out a Hookshot. Better yet, imagine being able to reach various Sky Islands just by pulling out the Hookshot and using it to reach wherever.
When looking at how to Fuse this item, the Fusion recipe mentioned here seems a little strange at first; however, it could definitely work. The Lynel Mace Horn looks like something that could easily attach itself to areas, making it the perfect item to throw in order to hook it around something. Then, cane sugar could make the rope since ropes can be made out of fibers from different things like cane sugar or reeds. This would let Link throw the hook (Lynel Mace Horn) and use the rope (cane sugar) to reach those areas.
