The Ranger Barrel and Takedown Barrel for assault rifles received a vertical recoil control decrease from 15% to 10%. This does not apply to XM4 and AK-47s, but other assault rifles have been adjusted. The Reinforced Heavy, Match Grade, and VDV Reinforced barrels have all received a vertical and horizontal recoil reduction from 7.5% to 5%. The Task Force, Spetsnaz RPK, and the CMV Mil-Spec barrels have received a recoil reduction as well for both assault rifles and light machine guns.
