Call of Duty: Modern Warfarehas been another success for the longstanding franchise. After apositive reception,Modern Warfarehas managed to keep fans entertained with a constant stream of updates and improvements. Despite many fans being pleased with the title, there are still lingering issues and it seems that there is no fix in sight for free tier skipping and the redeeming of the UDT Ghost bundle on Xbox One.

TheCall of Dutyfranchise has been one of the most successful first-person shootersof all time and for many, the reboot ofModern Warfareelevated many of the mechanics that made the series memorable. However the game has had issues, and although many have been fixed, lingering problems have continued to annoy fans of the series.

The free tier skip was given to players who purchased the Season 2 Battle Pass and entitled players to ten free tier jumps. Unfortunately, Season 3 ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfareis now underway and this promotion has not been honored. The UDT Ghost Bundle included weapons, skins, and finishing moves but is also unavailable for some Xbox One players which has led to a great deal of disappointment. The Senior Communications Manager for Infinity Ward, Ashton Williams, has delivered some good news for fans and stated that the issues are being actively worked on by the team behind the game. This is positive news, but some players would like to know when they’re purchases will be fulfilled.

The online aspects ofModern Warfarehave had issues with cheatingas well as these purchased items. The developer of the game, Infinity Ward, is adjusting the game frequently to please fans and keep the online experience fun and fair. With this said, players who have purchased items will want their money to be put to good use and items not being delivered could lead to negative press for the acclaimed franchise.

Fans will be reassured by the fact that the issues that they are facing are being addressed but concerned that there is not a time frame for the issues to be resolved. Many have high hopes forSeason 3 ofModern Warfareafter seeing its plans through the released roadmap, but fixing the issues that are still lingering on from the past season will make a lot of players even happier.
