Back in December, Reddit user PonyUpDaddy suggested a new game mode forCall of Duty: Modern Warfaredubbed Infected Ground War. As its name suggests, Infected Ground War would take the Infected rules and gameplay and mix it with the large-scale battles and maps provided by Ground War, and now it’s actually becoming a reality.Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis getting Infected Ground War at some point in Season 2.
This was confirmed by theModern WarfareSeason 2 road map, which lists Infected Ground War as one of the new multiplayer modes coming this season, alongside Gunfight Tournaments, NVG Reinforce, Demolition, and more. How exactly it will work remains to be seen, but hopefullyCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefans get more details sooner rather than later.
