Call of Duty: Modern Warfarefans have found yet another glitch in the game. It appears as though someModern Warfareplayers are invisible when running around the multiplayer maps, leading to cheap deaths and unfair advantages. However, it’s unclear if players are able to purposefully exploit this glitch, or if it’s completely random. In fact, it seems quite likely that the invisible players aren’t even aware that they’re not appearing to others.
At any rate, this problem was highlighted in a recent video on theModern Warfaresubreddit by user sp77ky. The clip shows sp77ky playing on thePiccadilly multiplayer mapwhen a player using the Ghost skin appears out of nowhere. This gives the Ghost player an easy kill, as they’re able to shoot and kill sp77ky before they even have the chance to react.

At the time of this writing, it’s unclear exactly what is causing theModern Warfareinvisibility glitch. Some have speculated that it’s connected to theGhost Operator skin, whereas others have blamed server lag for the issue. Infinity Ward has yet to comment, so until then, all fans can do is speculate. However, there is a possibility that an issue with the Ghost skin is indeed causing some players to appear invisible at certain distances.
The reason some people think this is because this isn’t the first time thatModern Warfarehas had a problem with invisible enemies. Back in January, it was discovered that theDallas Empire Call of Duty League skinwas making players invisible if they were a certain distance away from other players.
Then again, invisible enemies have been an issue inModern Warfarebefore the problem with the Dallas Empire Call of Duty League skin was discovered. A clip that made the rounds a few months ago showed aModern Warfareplayer getting killed by an invisible enemy on theDocks Gunfight map, that invisible enemy did not have the Dallas Empire Call of Duty League skin equipped. Considering this, it’s possible that there are a couple of different things that can cause players to appear invisible inModern Warfare.
Regardless,Modern Warfarefans will no doubt be hoping forInfinity Wardto address this issue sooner rather than later so they can avoid suffering cheap deaths in the future.
