Call of Duty: Modern Warfare February 19 Update Causes New Problem

Call of Duty: Modern Warfarereceives updates regularly, sometimes multiple updates in a single week. Infinity Ward is constantly working to fix bugs, address balancing issues, and add new content to the game, but like with other live service games, constant updating also leads to new bugs. The latestCall of Duty: Modern Warfarebug has appeared in the game after the February 19 update, and while it’s not game-breaking, it is inconvenient for those afflicted.

After theCall of Duty: Modern WarfareFebruary 19 update, some players reported an issue with all of their friends on their Activision friends list disappearing. They also reported an inability to send or receive new friend requests through their Activision account in-game. Some users reported that they were able to fix this by sending a friend request to a random person in the lobby, but this method does not seem to work for everyone.

At the time of this writing, it’s unclear just how manyCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers are currently dealing with this bug. However, with many players using their Xbox Live or PlayStation Network friends list over their Activision one anyway when it comes to playing with others, it doesn’t seem to be causing that big of an uproar in the community. Regardless, those impacted would no doubt like to seeInfinity Wardfix this issue sooner rather than later.

WithCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdated so frequently, a fix for this problem could come literally any day now. Infinity Ward has yet to comment on the issue, though, so it’s unclear if it’s on the studio’s radar just yet.

Regardless of when a fix for thisCall of Duty: Modern Warfarebug is coming, fans of the first-person shooter have a ton of new content to look forward to in the coming weeks. TheModern WarfareSeason 2 road maphas confirmed that fans of the game will be getting new weapons, maps, game modes, and more in upcoming updates.

There’s also the leakedModern WarfareWarzone battle royale modeon the horizon. No release date details on theModern Warfarebattle royale have been announced yet, but some leaks have pointed to the mode releasing on March 10.

Whether or not theModern WarfareWarzone leaked release date is accurate remains to be seen. But fans can count on it coming to the game in the future, along with a fix for this bug and other content.
