Call of Duty Mobilehas proven to be a massive success for Activision, with the game’s updates being a major part of the game’s rise to the top of the download charts. However, one update that has eludedCall of Duty Mobilefans has been the introduction of Diamond camo, but the wait is coming to an end soon.
Players were promised the addition of Diamond camo back inCall of Duty Mobile’s eleventh season, as the popular weapon design was teased alongside the addition of Damascus camo. The at-least300 millionCall of Duty Mobileplayerswill have access to Diamond camo come the launch of Season 13, with the new battle pass and content likely arriving on December 22. The arrival of Diamond was confirmed by the officialCall of Duty MobileReddit account via a response to another post. Redditor War_TVT asked, “Is diamond camo coming in season 13 or do we still have to wait longer?” The developer account responded with an emphatic yes.
TheCall of Duty Mobileteam said it will try to “get some shots of it to share” when the next community update arrives, a bit of news that should prove reassuring to fans. While the skin is typically unlocked via the acquisition of all the gold camos in each weapon class, Damascus already fills that role inCall of Duty Mobile. This leaves the unlock method for Diamond up in the air, though hopefully it is not as excessive asthe Mythic Fennec’s unlock system.
Diamond camo will be usable on new Season 13 guns come launch day, asCall of Duty Mobileis set toget the Peacekeeper Assault Rifleand an SMG. While players are unsure what the SMG will be called, the Peacekeeper is a classicCoDweapon first introduced inBlack Ops 2. Though It was an SMG in its original appearance, it makes sense that theCall of Duty Mobileteam follows the more recent games and uses the Peacekeeper as an Assault Rifle.
WhileCall of Duty Mobileplayers still have no idea how they are going to unlock it, they should be excited to know that Diamond camo is likely coming later in December. Before 2021 arrives,Call of Duty Mobileplayers should be rocking a stylish Diamond weapon skin while tearing throughBlack Ops 4’s version of Nuketown.
Call of Duty Mobileis available now on Android and iOS mobile devices.
