A newCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warglitch caught a player off guard in the middle of a multiplayer match. InCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,it seems that almost every day, a new glitch, bug, or error appears among the community. While some are detrimental, this was more comical than anything else.
Fans flooded toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’snew map Nuketownwhen it was first released. Quickly players found glitches, but the developer added a Christmas theme to the map rather than fixes for some of the issues. Now, a new bug has appeared that is both dangerous and funny at the same time.

In a clip posted to Reddit by LCKKAS, the player starts piloting a chopper and gunning down enemies on theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warmap Nuketown. Once the scorestreak finishes, the player is returned to their position, and begins to run into the nearby yellow house’s kitchen. As he passes the doorway, the camera stops, and viewers can clearly see the player’s body go running forward, turning through the door. Once they make it out of the house, the camera refocuses just in time for them to clear out two enemies and hide to think about what just happened.
Upon closer inspection of the clip, the player model is missing a head and seems to be doing a full sprint. This is only one of manyCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warglitches reported on Nuketown, but most of the others at least allow players to keep their heads on straight.
It is unclear what triggered this strange bug. Based on the title, the post’s author has no idea how it was triggered, and so far, no one has commented. A theory posted to a previous but similar incident suggests that theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warenginewas behaving as if the player was still in the chopper gunner. When the player leaves their body to inhabit the scorestreak, there is a moment where the camera is stuck in a third-person perspective. If the game glitched on reentry, it could explain why it disconnected from the moving player model.
Considering that this is a rare occurrence, theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Wardeveloperswill most likely not be repairing it any time soon. Many other more pressing glitches within the title are sure to have their attention above the occasional camera disturbance.
