Boruto’slast chapter saw Kawaki tap into the power of his Karma once more in order to protect his benefactor, Naruto, from the threat of Momoshiki Otsutsuki and Code. With Isshiki’s incredible power resurfacing within Kawaki, he was able to take on Momoshiki, who had possessed Boruto’s body, in combat and completely overwhelm him.Isshiki’s Jutsu, including Sukunahikonaand even Daikokuten, were easily used by Kawaki to push Momoshiki on the back foot.
What’s surprising is the fact that Boruto was eventually able to take control of his own body, thanks to Amado’s drug, and together with Kawaki, he came to the conclusion that killing him was the only way to stop Momoshiki. Pushing Naruto out of the way,Boruto allowed Kawaki to stab himin the chest, putting him in a near-death state. What To Expect From Boruto Chapter 67?
BorutoChapter 67is likely going to pick up right from where the previous one left off, with Boruto Uzumaki laying on the ground with a gaping wound in his chest, edging closer to death. It is quite easy to figure out that Boruto won’t die since he’s the protagonist of the story and, more importantly, is known to be alive and well in the prologue of the story. So, while it does look like he’s dead, he’ll likely be saved soon. Since the likes of Naruto Uzumaki are close by, it is likely that Boruto’s injured body will be retrieved, while Kawaki is stalled. More importantly, the threat of Code still exists, however, with Kawaki around him, it is unlikely for him to make a reckless move. If Kawaki jumps in to attack Code, perhaps Shikamaru could be rescued and together with Naruto, come up with a plan to save Boruto.

Quite possibly, Code might attempt to get to Amado to help him remove all his limiters so he can go all-out and get revenge on Naruto Uzumaki and Konohagakure for the death of Isshiki Otsutsuki, the person who he looked up to the most. If Kawaki and Code do clash, the exchange is likely going to be quite a short one, and might see the latter retreat after some time in an attempt to get to Amado.
Sasuke Uchiha, who was last seen a few chapters ago, should also be just around the corner and might jump in to help Naruto and Boruto in the next chapter. GivenSasuke’s ability to carefully analyze any situation, he could come up with a better solution that might benefit both Boruto Uzumaki and protect Konoha from the threat that both Code and Kawaki carry right now.
Boruto Chapter 67: Is Boruto Uzumaki Dead?
Boruto Uzumaki’s fate is possibly going to be revealed in the next chapter. Most likely, he’s going to be rescued somehow but withNaruto not having his healing powersanymore, the only way that he could potentially be saved is through a medical ninja or via the powers of Momoshiki Otsutsuki. If either Naruto or Sasuke, Boruto is somehow transported to Sakura Haruno, she might be able to save his life, given her expertise in medical ninjutsu. Sakura has the power of the Byakugou, which can heal even the most extreme injuries and in the Fourth Great Ninja War, she was seen being able to extend the Byakugou over to Obito Uchiha when he tried to rescue Sasuke from Kaguya Otsutsuki’s dimension.

On the other hand, Momoshiki Otsutsuki may have some special powers of his own that allows him to prevent the vessel that he needs desperately from dying. With Boruto taking a fatal injury, his control over Momoshiki would most certainly weaken, and, at the same time, Momoshiki might not be in the best state either. By saving Boruto, he could well be forced into slumber for now andallow Naruto Uzumaki the opportunity to save his sonand rescue him from the horrible fate of the Karma. Other important things that the chapter could tackle is Amado’s plan. Although he’s been in the village for quite some time, he hasn’t earned anyone’s trust at the moment and all those around him have been proven right to distrust him. Since his plan to turn Kawaki into Isshiki has now unraveled, the next chapter may give fans an idea of what it is that Amado truly wants and what exactly his relationship with Ada and Daemon is.
