Its popularity is likely due to how well-written the animatedcomedysitcom is, and how the interpersonal relationships of the family and others are crafted in a way that feels like an elevated take on relatable everyday scenarios people have dealt with at some point in their life.Bob’s Burgershas become a staple of modern American culture, though not yet in video game form, and until the show ends it will continue to showcase characters audiences can’t get enough of.
8Ron
In all ofBob’s Burgers, it’s hard to find a bigger unsung hero than Ron. Now, that name may not sound familiar, but seeing him makes it clear exactly who he is. Ron is the partner of Hugo and the two work as local health inspectors. For a number of reasons Hugo is constantly obsessed with Bob’s burger shop and tries to do everything in his power to shut it down.
Ron has to work overtime to not only help his friend from overreacting or doing something illegal but he’s often left in the cold as one of the only reasonable people in any given situation. He is a man of few words, but he deserves recognition for keeping a cool head.

7Tammy & Jocelyn
Tammy and Jocelyn exist in this weird space where they are intentionally meant to be annoying and serve as nuisances the Belcher kids must deal with, but at the same time, viewers can often be left feeling sympathetic for their natural ignorance. Tammy specifically has transitioned from friend to foe on several occasions and has come in direct conflict with each of the three Belcher kids for various reasons.
Jocelyn is sadly the type of kid who wants a leader to follow, so though it may not feel right to throw her under the bus, she is responsible for choosing Tammy to be the person she looks to for guidance. They may be annoying sometimes, but they also help balance outBob’s Burgersand provide necessary conflict.

6Zeke
Bob’s Burgersisn’t afraid to play with character tropes, but at the same time, they’re not afraid to twist them on their head and provide revelations for seemingly simplistic characters that initially fall into an easily predictable personality.
Zeke is the shining example of this on the show as he appears to be a simple-minded country kid on the surface, but as time goes on he’s revealed to be a naturally talented cook and possibly possess a perfect palette. Despite being from a self-described broken home Zeke often shows empathy and understanding and will go out of his way to make them feel better.

5Regular-Sized Rudy
Louise Belcher has a swath of friends audiences meet over the course ofBob’s Burgers, but none serve a more important role than Regular-Sized Rudy. Despite having a hilarious bland nickname Regular-Sized Rudy is often the voice of reason for Louise who is often lost in chaotic thought.

He also happens to be asthmatic and often needs his inhaler to catch his breath in times of stress or discomfort. Asthma isn’t a condition that’s often displayed in entertainment so it’s nice to seeBob’s Burgersproviding some representation of something that affects millions of people. He may be regular-sized, but this Rudy has a presence and impact that’s anything but regular.
4Bob & Linda Belcher
It may be cheating to pair Bob andLinda Belchertogether, but the two are such an iconic animated pair that it simply makes sense. The beauty of the two is that they’re just as funny and entertaining on their own as they are together.
Bob is often trying to avoid the situations his family puts him in, while Linda embraces the chaos and simply wants to help those she loves in any way she can. They’re the epitome of opposites attracting and regardless of what trials and tribulations the two have to deal with, at the end of the day they make it clear that they love one another regardless of how irritated or annoyed they can get.

3Gene Belcher
The kids are the stars ofBob’s Burgersand each of them has a case as being the best character in the entire show.Gene Belcher might bethe most divisive, though, as his humor often relies on simple fart jokes or toilet humor that may not be that funny to some. Outside of that, he is the performer of the family and often pushes to showcase his perceived talents.

He may not be as intelligent as Louise or endearingly awkward as Tina, but Gene is relatable to anyone who ever wanted to be noticed. Some of the best episodes inBob’s Burgersfeature touching moments of Gene either connecting with his overbearing mother or finding out he’s eerily similar to his burger-cooking father.
2Tina Belcher
Tina Belcher’s impact oninternet culture is apparent as she is the subject of several vastly popular memes and gifs shared on social media every single day. People love how awkward, and at times cringy, she is.
Bob’s Burgersisn’t afraid to lean into these aspects of Tina, and though they can be rather weird sometimes, people grow attached to her because she’s the representation of the awkward teenager face everyone goes through. Despite being an oddball Tina can also be rather confident in her desires and under the right circumstances pursues what she wants to the fullest extent.

1Louise Belcher
Bob’s Burgersfocuses on the Belcher family, who are mostly a group of weird and awkward individuals trying to get by.Louise Belcher is the youngestmember of the family but happens to be the dash of uncontrolled chaos making the entire thing work. She understands how easily she can manipulate those around her and for better or worse often puts it into action.
On its own, that would make her unlikeable and insufferable, but the reason it works is that her conscience always gets the best of her. She loves and cares about her family and wants them to be happy, but if she can push their buttons a bit in the process she’ll welcome it. She also happens to be the perfect representation of the common sibling belief that they can make fun of their siblings, but they’ll destroy anyone else who tries to do so.
