THQ Nordic’s upcoming action-RPGBiomutanthas released a new trailer that shows off a lot of cool new gameplay. The twist, however, is that the entireBiomutanttrailer is a remake of theStar Wars: Rise of Skywalkertrailer for its release on May the 4th.
Biomutantis set to be one of the biggest video game launches so far this year, and sees players taking control of furry warriors equipped with weapons crafted out of household materials to fight a variety of monsters. The game is hotly anticipated, leaving many fans to eagerly await any look at what the game has in store for them later this month.

The newestStar Wars-themedtrailer gives a peek at some of what players can expect, although not as much as a traditional trailer would. Firstly, the trailer shows off some of the customization options that characters will have available for their protagonists through the trailer’s stand-in for Rey. The trailer also gives a look at some of thelocations players can expect to visit inBiomutant, from a red-tinted desert to a vibrant blue river and lush forests. The trailer also gives a quick look at some vehicle gameplay with the video’s protagonist zipping around on a motorcycle-like boat.
The trailer also shows off some of the equipment that players can expect to use throughoutBiomutant. Rather than using some of the gear that many players may expect from an action RPG, the hero in the trailer is equipped with more modest items like some kind of a brush and a rolling pin that appears to do fire damage. While it is a limited look, it is a good look at the sort of weapons that players can expect to craft withBiomutant’s interesting weapon building mechanic.
Of course, the new trailer is also a fun nod toStar Warsto celebrate today being May the 4th. The resemblances between the trailer and the original are pretty remarkable, and the added benefit of seeing some more tidbits ofBiomutantis an added bonus.Biomutantdoes have a lot of unique features in it, however, so there is still a lot that is unknown about the game and what players will all be doing when it launches. Luckily, fans waiting to get their hands onBiomutantdo not have much longer to wait, so hopefully, the game can live up to all of the excitement when it launches later this month.
