TheM870is the only Shotgun to make it into the top weapons inXDefiant. This pump-action Shotgun serves as the base weapon of its class, delivering powerful shots at close range. Though the Double Barrel Shotgun outclasses the M870 in terms of raw damage, the difference is minimal, and the M870 has the edge with its five shells compared to the Double Barrel’s meager two.

TAC-50 stats in XDefiant

The M870 is a powerhouse in the close-range meta, sporting a damage potential of 112, allowing it to effectively one-shot all players, minusthe Phantom Faction. However, players will need to hit all twelve of their pellets within a range of 10m to achieve this feat, making the average shots to kill anywhere from two to three up close. The weapon shines the most when used while aiming down sights, but its range potential is rather poor for obvious reasons.

Though Light Machine Guns are generally the least favored weapon class inXDefiant, theM249is a great weapon to use and is available right from the get-go. The closest contender to the M249 is the M60, an LMG that boasts greater damage at the expense of a slower fire rate and reduced mobility and accuracy. However, when considering the former’s RPM, players will find that the M249 has a better TTK than the M60 on average, along with better mobility and accuracy at range.

P90 stats in XDefiant

Of course, the M249 is still rather sluggish compared to many of the other weapons here, an attribute that many players may not be too fond of. However, that does not mean the M249 is a bad option by any means. This weapon shines at mowing down crowds of enemies with its 100-round magazine and is remarkably strong when paired with a Phantom’s Mag Barrier.

TheM44is one of two available Sniper Rifles inXDefiant, and it is an excellent one at that. Though trailing behind the TAC-50 in both range and sheer damage, the M44 has the edge when it comes to speed. Out of the two options, the M44 is by far the best for its quick-scoping potential, possessing an ADS speed of 225 ms faster than the TAC-50. The M44 also has a faster fire rate, making it much easier to chain multiple shots on opponents.

ACR 6.8 stats in XDefiant

While the base damage output of the M44 is valued at 90, it can dish out up to 114 damage to the upper torso, effectively one-shotting to the chest for most opponents. However, the M44 is only capable of one-shotting Phantoms if players land a headshot, holding this weapon back just a little bit.

TheTAC-50serves as the second available weapon inthe Sniper Rifle categoryand sports one of the highest damage potentials in the game. While the M44 is generally favored for its quick-scoping potential and is capable of killing most faction members with one shot to the upper torso, the M44 is incapable of one-shot-killing Phantoms in the same way. This is where the TAC-50 comes into play.

Though the in-game detailed stats put the damage output of the TAC-50 at 90, it is capable of dishing out a whopping 145 damage to all opponents when firing at the upper torso – effectively serving asXDefiant’strue one-shot Sniper Rifle. Though relatively sluggish compared to the M44, players can easily improve the aim-down-sight speed and mobility with the right attachments, making it the better option of the two.

TheSVDis one of two Marksman Rifles in the game. Though the MK 20 SSR is available from the get-go and sports a slightly faster fire rate, the SVD is arguably the better option. This is thanks to the weapon’s superior handling attributes, along with its increased damage per shot.

From nearly all ranges, the SVD is a reliable two-shot kill to the upper torso, making it a powerhouse for medium-to-long-range engagements. This makes it a superb choice for players who find themselves playing Escort, as this weapon can seriously come in handy for picking off players in areas with long lines of sight.

TheVector .45 ACP, Vector for short, takes the cake for the Submachine Gun with the highest DPS value in its weapon category. With a fire rate of 1000 RPM, the Vector surpasses the P90, the MP7, and the MP5A2 when it comes to overall TTK at the 13-meter mark.

Though proving remarkably strong up close, the effective range of the Vector falls off significantly at the 19-meter mark, making it a little less versatile than many of the other Submachine Guns in the game. This nifty SMG also has one of the lowest magazine sizes to boot, which does not necessarily synergize well with its already absurdly high RPM.

TheP90is definitely a great consideration for players looking for a solid close-range weapon. Though it falls behind both the MP7 and the Vector in overall DPS, the P90 has one strength that the Vector lacks: a large magazine size. The P90 boasts 50 rounds by default, allowing players to garner more kills before reloading. The already large magazine also will enable players to prioritize improving reload speed for their magazine attachment, a perk other Submachine Guns lack.

Though outclassed in terms of DPS by other SMGs at the 13-meter mark, the P90 retains a higher DPS than other options beyond 24 meters. This makes it slightly more versatile at range, which can come in clutch if players find themselves facing an MP7 or a Vector at medium range.

TheAK-47takes the second spot for the best Assault Rifle inXDefiantand ranks pretty high in the overall meta. When compared to its closest competitor, the M4A1, the latter leads the way in terms of raw damage output, though it is slightly beaten by the latter for mobility and accuracy.

The AK-47 is perfect for players looking to dish out some significant damage from medium-range, though its low ADS stability and slightly bouncy recoil can become a problem at longer ranges. This means that players may want to mitigate these flawswith the right attachments, which holds this weapon back slightly.

If fans are looking for a relatively reliable and high TTK weapon for close-range combat inXDefiant, then look no further than theMP7. This nifty lightweight weapon may possess handling attributes on par with other SMG options, but it is tied with the Vector and the P90 in ADS stability.

While the P90 is much better at medium range and the Vector excels up close, the MP7 outclasses both options at the 17-meter mark. This makes the MP7 arguably one of the more versatile SMGs, solidifying a high ranking in the overall meta – and proving as a great weapon to use forthe Cleaners.

TheACR 6.8is arguably the best and most versatile weapon inXDefiant. The sheer damage potential of the ACR is unrivaled, granting it the highest TTK thanks to its high firepower and RPM. The effective range of this gun is also pretty high, narrowly beating the AK-47, its closest competitor.

The only main drawback the ACR has is its ADS Speed, which although not that poor, is outclassed slightly by MDR and the AK-47. However, the difference is minuscule, doing very little to harm the ACR’s potential. Overall, the ACR 6.8 is the king when it comes toXDefiant, firmly planting it at the top within the game’s meta.
