Jolyne’s path was never going to be easy and often, she would have to fight powerful opponents, who were armed with incredibly strong Stands. The amazing abilities of the Stands made almost every fight in Stone Ocean enthralling. However, not all the fights in the series can create the same amount of excitement and action. Some of the fights in Stone Ocean are better than others. With that in mind, here are thebest fights in Stone Ocean.

Warning: Stone Ocean anime is still ongoing, and this list includes fights that have not been animated.
17Jolyne VS. Gwess
Jolyne’s life in prison didn’t have the best of starts. She was put in the same cell as Gwess, who appeared to be a sweet woman, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. In reality, Gwess was obsessed with shrinking other people and keeping them as pets. She used the power of her stand, Goo Goo Dolls, to reduce the size of other living beings.
The Stand’s tiny size meant that it could easily be overwhelmed by a regular Stand. Using her Stand’s power, Gwess shrank Jolyne and kept her as a pet. It took some time for Jolyne to figure out the Stand’s weakness, but eventually, she used it to her advantage and defeated Gwess. After her defeat, Gwess remained loyal to Jolyne, even helping her on different occasions. Considering it is one of the earliest fights in the series, it is still good enough to land a spot on the list.

16Jolyne and Anasui VS. Yo-Yo Ma
After defeating Westwood, Jolyne, Foo Fighters, and Anasui made their way out of the maximum security prison, where they met Yo-Yo Ma, which is the Stand of D&G. Luckily, Jolyne and Anasui’s perceptiveness helped them to understand the nature of the Stand and enabled them to outsmart it. The collective effort of the heroes and the unique nature of Yo-Yo Ma make this one of thebest Stone Oceanfights.
15Ermes VS. Thunder McQueen
Not manyJoJovillains can boast of being pathetic and annoying at the same time, but Thunder McQueen is an exception. As a person with very low self-esteem, he was over the moon when Ermes complimented him. Ermes had absolutely no idea that she was talking to one of the creepiest characters in the prison. McQueen became obsessed with Ermes, and he started to follow her around.
After Ermes turned down his advances, Thunder McQueen became depressed and decided to commit suicide. On their quest to beat Pucci, Jolyne and Ermes encountered Rikiel, one of DIO’s sons. The battle between them was quite astonishing as it was not just about outsmarting each other but it was also a test of their resolve.
Rikiel’s abilities increased or decreased depending on his self-confidence, which gave the fight several highs and lows. Towards the end of the fight, Rikiel set himself on fire just to have a chance at beating Jolyne, but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to take down the Joestar.

13Ermes VS. Sports Maxx

12Anasui, Weather Report VS. Pucci
The build-up leading to this fight was incredible. Once Weather Report regained his memories, he only sought one thing— defeating Pucci, and he was willing to lose his own life in the process. Despite their numerical advantage, Anasui and Weather Report struggled to deal any kind of damage to Pucci.
However, as the fight dragged on, Anasui and Weather Report managed to overwhelm their opponent, and it came to the point where Weather Report was a punch away from killing Pucci. Unfortunately, a passing car separated the two brothers, which gave Pucci the opportunity to punch through Weather’s chest.

11Jotaro, Jolyne VS. Johngalli A.
Before Jotaro turned up inside the prison, Jolyne absolutely despised him. She was raised by her mother, while Jotaro was busy with work, and because of this, she grew up hating her father.
There are different stages in this fight, which makes it quite confusing. At the beginning of the fight, Jotaro and Jolyne start hallucinating, which allows Johngalli A. to attack them easily. Fearing that his daughter might die, Jotaro pushes her out of harm’s way and ends up falling prey to Whitesnake. The fight was very significant to Jolyne’s character development as she started to understand the reason behind Jotaro’s actions.

9Jolyne And Emporio VS. Miu Miu

8Jolyne and Weather Report VS. Jumpin' Jack Flash
Like many fights inStoneOcean, there are more than two people involved in this one. This fight took place as Jolyne tried to reach the courtyard, where she could meet the agent from the Speedwagon Foundation.
