Tons ofPokemonfan art has cropped up over the years sincePokemon Red and Bluewere released, including a fresh one that imagines human forms of Gen 2 Pokemon Sentret and Furret. Because of how manyPokemongames have been released since 1996, there’s a plethora of characters to choose between in fan art, and some players even try to interpret what their favorite Pokemon would look like as people.
Pokemon Red and Bluebegan a trend back in 1996 in which fans created variants of existing Pokemon or imagined entirely unique monsters of their own, which some wished would join the official Pokedex. With thePokemonseries being in its ninth generation, fans of the franchise have been introduced to impressive changes to implement into their art, like Terastallized forms andPaldean regional Pokemonthat differ from those found in Alola or Galar. Each new Pokedex entry has the chance to become not only a fan-favorite Pokemon or a strategically useful party member but also fan art similar to this Sentret and Furret one.

Reddit user Endifi recently shared two impressivePokemonfan art depictingPokemon Gold and Silver’s Sentretand its evolution Furret as characters with abnormally long hair. With Sentret usually looking like a cross between a flying squirrel and a rabbit, the human form of it retains the brown and beige color scheme, round form, and strong tail, while turning the ring near the center of the Pokemon into an extension of their clothing. The human Sentret keeps the cute beady eyes of the creature, but its normally tall rabbit-like ears are made smaller in the human form, with tall buns used to reflect the same level of height.
Losing the baggy clothes featured in thePokemon Gold and SilverSentret fan art, the Furret form is much slimmer and is a lighter color to properly mimic the evolution of the Pokemon. With much longer hair than the Sentret before it, the human Furret represents the elongated form of theNormal-type Pokemonwith a mane that’s tied with rings similar to the ones typically found on Furret’s body. The Furret human shares the astonished expression of the Pokemon’s Pokedex entry image, and despite having visible ears in a normal spot, there are two cones poking out their head to match those featured in the design of the Gen 2 Pokemon.
ThoughPokemon Scarlet and Violetget a majority of the attention from thePokemoncommunity these days with how new they are,Pokemon Gold and Silverstill have their own fans that continue to celebrate the Game Boy titles. Given that Endifi has already worked through thePokemon Red and Bluegenerationand has only just begun the Gen 2 artwork, there may be more incredible creations from this artist in the future.
