The following article contains spoilers forAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. As usual for most Marvel Studios films,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s post-credits scenes have given fans plenty to talk about, namely the possibility of which Kang variants the MCU could turn its focus to next. However, some new on-set photos show just how much work it’ll take to make each of these Kangs look as menacing as they do.

Ant-Man 3contains two different post-credits sequences, each packing repercussions for the entirety of the MCU due to the introduction of the Council of Kangs and that tiny glimpse at thekind of missionsLokiseason 2 will feature. In that first mid-credits teaser, audiences can see many Kang variants that will probably terrorize the Avengers in Phase Five and Six, including Immortus, Rama-Tut, the cyborg-like Kang, ad another reptile-looking fellow.

The last Kang gets the spotlight in some behind-the-scenes images shared by Twitter user Mr. Krasinski (@misterkrasinski). The user posted several pictures of a character he refers to as “Kang Lizard,” which shows up in the first few shots of the mid-credits scene with a deformed scaly face and slit nostrils that undoubtedly bear a slight resemblance to Spider-Man’s famed enemy. It’s not entirely clear if the man behind all this makeup and prosthetics is indeedKang actor Jonathan Majors, but the 3D model posted alongside it and a slight resemblance to the actor suggests that might be the case.

Unlike similar people or accounts that post content like this, Mr. Krasinski doesn’t directly claim to be a costume designer or artist working for Marvel Studios or a leaker. However, other seemingly exclusive pictures from theAnt-Man 3sets point to that conclusion. Other photos uploaded by that user includethe control gloves Hank Pym usesto pilot the ship he, Janet, and Hope board during the film and pictures of Kathryn Newton’s suit or some stunt performers from the movie.

The number of Kang variants shown in the film probably becomes more important given the way it ends, where Jonathan Majors' main Kang the Conqueror appears to perish, something that could have been different ifAnt-Man 3’s ending had not been changed last minute. For now,Lokiseason 2 is the next logical chapter for Marvel fans to check out more Kang variants, with the vintage Victor Timely now set to be one of those.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais now playing theaters.
