Ruined Forges are new locations in theElden Ring DLC, which, as the name suggests, are Forges. They have a distinct outward appearance and have eitherMisbegottenenemies orBloodfiendsroaming around them. Forges are great places to explore if the players want extra Smithing Stones, as almost every Forge has at least oneAncient Dragon Smithing Stone.
This guide includes all the details on the locations of the Ruined Forges inShadow of the Erdtreeand what notable loot players can acquire there.
Players who want to focus on the story can ignore these locations on their first visit and revisit them after the final boss has been dealt with.
How To Get To Ruined Forge Lava Intake
From theCastle FrontSite of Grace,summon your Torrentand ride south past the barricade. There should be a fewMessmer Soldierspatrolling around the area.
You can deal with them to see if they drop theirarmor setsor weapons.
After that, head further south, towards the Bloodfiends fighting the Messmer Soldiers. Keep going past them, and soon, you will reach the entrance to theRuin Forge Lava Intake.

How To Get To Ruined Forge Of Starfall Past
Ride northeast from theHighroad CrossSite of Grace until a path on the right comes up. Take this path and start heading south, past the Messmer Soldier camp. There will be a small body of water with aGiant Crayfishon the right that you’re able to ignore and ride past.
As you ride further south, you will approach the entrance to theRuined Forge of Starfall Past. Inside the Forge, you can find multiple weapons and aSmithing Talisman.

How To Get To Taylew’s Ruined Forge
Start riding northeast from theMoorth RuinsSite of Grace until you reach a water body filled with Blue Worms. There should be a cave to the north with a statue at the entrance with aScadutree Fragmentnearby. Head inside the cave and follow the path until you reach an area filled withGravebirds. Keep riding west until you reach theAncient Ruins of Rauh,where a Site of Grace should be ahead of you.
From this Grace head northeast, going past the barricades and the numerous Messmer Soldiers and Misbegotten enemies. Soon, you will come up to theTaylew’s Ruined Forge entrance. You can findTaylew the Golem SmithSpirit Ash inside the Forge, which has a very high health pool.
