How to Pet Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2 (The Nice Things in Life Trophy/Achievement)
Possibly the most heartwarming ofoptional side tasks inAlan Wake 2that players can accomplish is finding and meeting the mayor of Bright Falls himself. While it’s not immediately clear who this mayor is at first or why he’s so popular, players who pay close attention to the campaign booths bearing his name and slogans may be able to sniff out his adorable nature. There aresixMayor Setter booths divided evenly between the regions of Bright Falls and Watery.

All Mayor Setter Signs in Bright Falls
Bright Falls has 3 Mayor Setter stations. Thefirst two can be obtained quite early, starting from Saga’s first chapter, Return 1: Invitation,when she arrives in town. Thethird cannot be accessed until players have progressed further into chapter Return 5: Old Godsand have finished the story goals located at theValhalla Nursing Home and Wellness Center.

All Mayor Setter Signs in Watery
The washed-out area of Watery becomes available to explore during Saga’schapter Return 3: Local Girl. There are 3 booths here, and all can be found in this chapter.
Referencing the map, players will locate the Watery booths at:
Saga’s chapter Return 6: Scratch marks a point of no return. Players cannot revisit any areas past a certain point in this chapter. The game will provide a warning when this occurs.
Find Mayor Setter and Charm Reward
After finding all six booths, players cancheck Saga’s mind place for a poster with a picture of the pup on the wall. Saga will comment about finally meeting the mayor. Players should head to Suomi Hall in downtown Watery. Once they step in, on the main stage will be Mayor Setter in the fur. Interact to give him a well-earned pat on the head, which almost any player can agree is the best break from battling monsters.
Doing so unlocksThe Nice Things in Life Achievement/Trophyand rewards a unique charm of his namesake. This charm is especially useful as it will showall collectibles and resources inAlan Wake 2nearby on the map when equipped.
