While most players will try their luck and gorunning headfirstinto the action, trying to take on the predator mono a mono, there are strategies to deal with it that don’t involve getting anyone killed. So, here are ways you may kill the Predator or, at the very least, escape with yourdignity intact.
10Stick Together
This seems like something that everyone would do right off the bat. After all, there is strength in numbers, right? Surprisingly, few people who aren’t in a party together actually stick together, and it can quickly become your downfall.
Running off alone offers an advantage for the Predator to jump from a tree and catch you without backup to fend him off. As a fireteam member, you can easily go down with a few hits from the Predator, so it is best to stick together and not risk the Predator coming after you.

9Always Mark The Predator
This is something that seems obvious to do as well. As a fireteam member, you have the ability to mark the Predator’s location, which can easily help you avoid it or also show your team where to aim if they want totake it down.
There are bonuses in the game that you may grab early on to help your marks last longer as well. This is especially useful after getting attacked since the team will typically start firing bullets into the trees, hoping to hit the mark.

8Mud Up Or Shut Up
Like the movies, the Predator can lose track of the fireteam if they cover themselves in mud. Each member of the team should start the game off by jumping to the ground and getting a good coating of mud on themselves.
This will allow everyone to safely roam without worrying about the Predator’s heat tracker catching them. Keep in mind that this is limited, and you will have to reapply that military mud mask every five to ten minutes.

7Remember “Old Painless Is Waiting”
Summon your inner Blain Cooper with the M134 minigun, but try not to mow down half the forest in the process. This is one of the best tools for dealing with the Predator. It can dish out damage extremely quickly but slows you down in the process, so use it wisely.

It is recommended that at least two team members have this useful tool, so if someone gets caught by the Predator, it can easily be fended off. Lighting the Predator up with this can easily make it run for the hills.
6Take Objectives As A Team
This is another tip that everyone should naturally follow. If you are taking an objective, don’t run off alone to take out the enemies that are afraid to run forward. If you are going to run off, bring at least one other person with you.
This will increase your survivability if the Predator chooses to jump down and attack. Plus, the AI can sometimes be pretty strong, so the added backup can always be appreciated.

5Don’t Forget To Reinforce
One of your teammates dying is something that should always be expected. After all, nobody is perfect, and sometimes the person playing the Predator is resourceful. Luckily, the game has reinforcement missions to help with the inevitability.
These missions can end up being in any location on the map, but they are a lifesaver if you lose a member or two of your team. Getting that firepower back is essential for dealing with the obviousotherworldly threatthat is hunting you down.

4Shoot To Kill
The Predator is pretty susceptible to damage when it is directed at its head. The mask can easily be broken, leaving the Predator’s head exposed to take some serious punishment.
Doing this not only exposes the Predator’s good looks but also prevents it from being able to aim with its laser which can save your whole team in the end. It also prevents the Predator from being able to use the IR scanner. Destroying its mask is easily the most useful thing your team can do and almost guarantees you the victory.

3Run!
Running isn’t something that everyone wants to do, but what else do you do if you are alone? At some point, your team may end up getting separated and in that event, it is best to not stand your ground. If you happen to run into the Predator, then it can be best to call for a teammate and hope that you can reach them before going down.

Countless teammates have gone down because they try to fight their way out when the Predator comes knocking. Running can not only give you an advantage if you reach a team member, but an AI can also prove effective as they can attack the Predator as well.
2Don’t Do Unnecessary Objectives
When the time comes to “get to the choppa,” there will be an optional objective. This is good if you want the extra experience, but gives the Predator more time to come after you and the rest of your team.
When it comes down to the wire like this, the Predator typically starts freaking out and will wildly strike. If unprepared, you and your team can easily getwiped out.Only go for the bonus objective if you have a strong team that can hold themselves. If not, then head straight for the chopper and get outta there before it’s too late.

1Disarm Or Get Out
You have followed the tips and managed to kill the Predator. Victory is assured, correct? Wrong! The Predator has a self-destruct countermeasure that is triggered the second it is defeated. After defeating the Predator, a large circle will appear on the map, and you will have to run for it or disarm the bomb.
Only disarm the bomb if you know what you are doing. Many players try to stick around and disarm the bomb only to get vaporized, and this means that the Predator still wins. Don’t give it the satisfaction and get out before it’s too late.
