The quality of the graphics for an open-world title always gets a lot of attention. Tamriel is a large continent filled with all manner of fantastic environments. Luckily, fans ofThe Elder Scrolls Onlinedon’t have to wait long for a visual upgrade. The popular MMORPG is being ported to the PS5 on July 31, 2025. Along with it comes the 60 FPS capability that will surely go a long way towards making Tamriel a joy to experience all over again.

8Borderlands 3
TheBorderlandsfranchise is noted for its unique artistic style. Its choice of color palette makes the presentation look something akin to a comic book.Borderlands 3is no exception. Since then, improvements to the game have steadily rehabilitated its reputation.
Along with the addition of new features in the form of updates,No Man’s Skyalso received a port to the new consoles in November 2020. Visually, the game is nothing short of beautiful. Exploring the diverse, procedurally generated world with all the added features makes for a much better experience compared to what was offered in 2016.

3Yakuza: Like A Dragon
Yakuza: Like a Dragonis the most recent installment in the long-running beat ‘em up franchise. It differs from other entries in the series by utilizing turn-based mechanics, a staple feature of many JRPGs. A brand-new protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, takes the place of the series stalwart Kazuma Kiryu, along with various other recruitable companions.
In March 2021,Yakuza: Like a Dragonreceived its PS5 upgrade. At 60 FPS, exploring the environs of Kamurocho is a much smoother endeavor this time around. Stuttering is less of a problem as the game can run as smoothly as silk. There’s also an option to play in High-Resolution mode,which renders at 4K30 FPS.

InControl, players take the role of Jesse Faden as she investigates the mysterious happenings at a place known as the Oldest House. Aiding Jesse throughout her supernatural explorations are a variety of psychokinetic powers and abilities that can be upgraded over time.
Controlgarnered very positive reviews upon release in August 2019. In February 2021, the game was made available to play on the PS5. For a game that’s focused on fast-paced action and constant movement, the 60 FPS upgrade isa welcome and noticeable improvement.

1Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
It’s always interesting to see what historical setting theAssassin’s Creedseries is going to examine next.Assassin’s Creed Valhallatransports players back to the age of the Vikings in the midst of their invasions of the British mainland. Being an open-world title, there’s no shortage of activities for the player to partake in whenever they’re not pillaging.
Like many of the other entries on this list,Assassin’s Creed Valhallawas made playable on the PS5 in November 2020. The enhanced graphical fidelity of the game makes this particular historical setting gorgeous to behold. SinceValhallaalso runs at a more stable pace, the player shouldn’t have to deal with too many annoying stutters or framerate drops.
